From where do you source your tea?

Our catalogue currently includes teas from carefully chosen tea gardens across India and Nepal, and we are continually looking for wonderful new teas to bring to you. In fact, our tea buyer likes nothing more than to wander around tea gardens hunting for exquisite teas, humming, “Ain’t no mountain high enough”. We maintain transparency around who grows our teas.

Indeed. All our teas are organic.

Can I buy a different pack size?

Presently, 100 grams and 10 grams are the standard pack sizes we carry. However, if you’re interested in ordering in bulk (more than 1 kilogram), just send us a mail on iwantmoretea@wodehousetea.com, and we’ll gladly raise a special order for you.

How many cups of tea can I brew with 100 grams of Wodehouse Tea?

Usually, about 50 cups of tea, assuming a 150 ml (5 oz) cup. Fewer if you like your tea VERY strong, more if you prefer a milder brew.

How should I store my tea?

Our pouches are designed to keep your tea fresh – just remember to store the pouch in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. Squeezing out the extra air before sealing the ziplock will preserve the aroma and freshness for longer.

Where can I buy Wodehouse Tea?

Currently, this website at wodehousetea.com and our store on Amazon.in are the only places where our teas are available. We do not sell our teas anywhere else. In case you happen to come across products claiming to be Wodehouse Tea being sold elsewhere, please send us a mail on goodsamaritan@wodehousetea.com.

ORDERS, PAYMENTS AND TAXES

Can I pay by cash on delivery?

Unfortunately, online payment via credit or debit card is the only method we offer. We're working on adding cash-on-delivery soon.

I haven't received my order confirmation mail. What now?

Sometimes, emails may be delayed by up to 10 minutes. If it hasn’t been delivered beyond this time, please check your spam / junk / trash folders to make sure it hasn’t accidentally ended up there. In case you still can’t find it, please mail us and we’ll help you out.

Can I modify my order?

Certainly. You can modify any order before it is shipped. Orders are often dispatched the same day, so contact us soon.

Will I have to pay customs / import taxes or octroi?

Most countries do not levy duties or taxes on tea for quantities under 4 kilograms. However, these regulations vary over time and from city to city, so please check with your local authorities for rules that may apply to you. For orders within India, some cities / states may levy an octroi. Our logistics partners will generally help with the paperwork on your behalf.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. Orders are often despatched on the same day, so send us an email soon. Unfortunately, orders cannot be cancelled once shipped. For more on this, please take a look at our cancellations policy.

GIFT CARDS

How do gift cards work?

Gift cards can be purchased like any other product. Once a purchase is successful, an email with the gift card will be sent to the email ID you provided during checkout. Note that gift cards are virtual products - no physical card or product will be shipped on the purchase of a gift card.

Anyone with the unique 16-digit code on the gift card will be able to use it to complete a purchase, so save the code securely.

Can I use a gift card more than once?

Yes, a gift card can be used multiple times, as long as there is balance left on the card.

Can I reload / recharge / add money to a gift card?

No. Once a gift card is purchased for a certain value, it cannot be reloaded or recharged.

Can I use more than one gift card on a single purchase?

Certainly. You may redeem multiple gift cards on a single order.

Can I use a gift card to pay for shipping and taxes?

Of course. Gift cards are applied to the final order total which includes shipping and taxes.

Can I use a discount code to buy a gift card?

No, discount codes cannot be applied to the purchase of gift cards.

Can I apply a discount code and a gift card on the same purchase?

Yes, discount codes and gift cards can be applied to the same purchase, as long as the cart does not contain another gift card.

I lost my gift card email. What now?

Worry not. Just send us an email and we'll find it for you. Note that we can only re-send a gift card to the original email to which it was issued. Note that anybody who has the unique code of a gift card can use it to make a purchase, so save this code securely. In case you no longer have access to that email, we can cancel the old gift card and reissue a new card to a different email, after verifying your identity.

SHIPPING

Do you ship internationally?

We certainly do. We ship to all countries served by DHL and FedEx. If you are shipping within India, please order from the Wodehouse Tea store on Amazon.in

How long will my order take to arrive?

Depending on how far you are from our despatch centre in Mysore, India, it could take between 5 and 20 days for the shipment to reach you. Most domestic orders are delivered within 7 days, and international orders within 12 days.

Where is my shipment tracking number?

We’ll send you the tracking number once your order is despatched, in the shipping confirmation email.

What if my shipment is delayed?

Normally, this doesn’t happen, but if there is a delay, please write to us and we’ll work with the courier to get the matter resolved, post-haste.

Can I change the shipping address?

If your shipment hasn’t yet been handed over to the courier, we can change the address. Just email us on support@wodehousetea.com. Orders are often shipped the same day, so hurry! Once an order is despatched, we cannot change the address.

What if I'm not happy with the tea I receive?

Making sure that you enjoy a 5-star experience with every single order is our number one priority. If this isn’t the case, and you feel something went wrong with your order, we apologise. Please contact us, and we’ll do everything we can to set things right.

Can I return my order?

We consider returned products to be compromised on freshness, and we cannot restock or re-ship such products, even if they are unopened. Consequently, we do not offer returns. That said, there is nothing more important to us than ensuring that you enjoy a great experience with Wodehouse Tea. So if you feel that something wasn’t right with your order, please get in touch, and we’ll do everything we can to set things right.

How do you process refunds?

Once approved, refunds are credited to the original mode of payment. Orders made through gift cards or coupons are credited to your Wodehouse Tea account. Sale products can unfortunately not be refunded.
